  • Clean rags
  • Broom or vacuum cleaner
  • Scrubbing sponge
  • Dusting brush
  • Window cleaner
  • Mop and bucket

Step 1: Clear the space

First, this step is essential for an effective deep clean. So don’t skip this step! Start by taking your products out of your shower or bathtub and removing any towels and bath mats that are in place. Next, empty your cabinets and drawers as well as your garbage can.

Step 2: Dust the bathroom

Second, remove the dust from your bathroom. Use a feather duster and be sure to run it properly over cabinets and fixtures as well as any out of reach areas where dust might collect. When you’re done, vacuum or sweep up any dust that has fallen on the floor.

Step 3: Clean the shower and/or bathtub

Third, move on to cleaning your shower and tub. Use an all-purpose or bathroom cleaner and a cloth to clean your shower or tub. If your shower and/or tub gets really dirty, use a mixture of vinegar, baking soda and lemon. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and scrub with a scrubbing sponge. Rinse with clean water.

Step 4: Clean your bathroom surfaces

For this step, you’ll need an all-purpose or bathroom cleaner and a clean cloth. Spray your cloth and clean your surfaces. Some of the surfaces to clean are

  • shelves
  • baseboards
  • towel bar
  • doors

Don’t forget to clean your shower and window glass with a glass cleaner and a clean cloth.

Step 5: Clean the sink

For this step, use an all-purpose or bathroom cleaner and a damp cloth. Spray your sink and clean with your cloth. You can use the tip from step 3 to remove soap and toothpaste residue if needed.

Step 6: The Toilet

Next, let’s move on to cleaning the toilet. Use an all-purpose or bathroom cleaner and a scrub brush. Spray on the cleaner and scrub with the brush. When you’re done with the brush, don’t forget to flush the toilet.

Step 7: Clean the floor

In a bucket, put 3 spoons of vinegar and lemon juice in 1L of hot water. Then, soak your mop and clean the floor of your bathroom. Let it air dry.

Step 8: Replace your products

Finally, when your floor is dry, all you need to do is replace the products you removed in step 1. Don’t forget to change your towels and replace your garbage can.
